At this very moment, orca Morgan is being transported from Dolfinarium Harderwijk to international airport Schiphol Amsterdam.Around 8:00 AM local time, Morgan was lifted from her pool in her custom-fitted sling.
Around 9:30 AM the truck left the gate of the Dolfinarium, where press were present and staff were giving her a round of applause. In interviews, they view Morgan as a miracle, starting out as a severely underweight (430 kilos) emaciated little whale, who transformed into a healthy and active girl, weighing close to 1400 kilos!
She will be flown this afternoon to Tenerife, where she will hopefully soon be introduced to the other animals.
